Coronavirus: We are still here for you
The coronavirus has a firm grip on the economy, people and borders. The governments are taking drastic measures to contain or at least slow down the spread of the coronavirus.
Of course, we are taking our responsibility for our employees very seriously and taking all necessary steps to protect our team and ourselves from the virus in the best possible way. However, at the same time, we are also aware of our responsibility towards you, our customers.
Therefore, we will continue working for you.
In the case of cross-border traffic, however, we would like to point out that the reduction of border crossings, health checks at the borders and, in some cases, complete closure of freight traffic can lead to significant delays or total bans for our transports. For national transports, we must also consider the fact that road permits are either not issued at all currently or are subsequently withdrawn by authorities or external arrangements. We closely monitor the latest developments, plan as pro-actively as possible and remain in close contact with you about all transports.
The commitment of our employees, who continue to do their job as good as always, sometimes even under the most difficult conditions, keeps our company going. Whether it’s our professional drivers, our technical employees or our colleagues in the office and home office, they all make it possible for us to continue to offer our services. We would like to express our thanks for this here as well.
With enough flexibility and a sense of responsibility, we will master this current situation.
If you have any questions, please contact your personal contact here at Universal Transport.
Stay healthy!
